Gallery Promotion

The Gallery

The Gallery is used to showcase the work of OAA members. The features of the Gallery are;

• Every time someone visits the website homepage, one of the gallery members is "Featured". The featured artist is selected randomly from the list of participating artists so every artist has an equal chance of being featured at any time.
• As "Featured Artist" one of your images will be selected for display. The featured image is selected from all the art you have included - it's not just the same image each time.
• Gallery participants have a "Bio" page that provides background and contact information. If you have a personal website, you can provide a link to it on this page.
• The "Bio" page showcases one of your images (it's not just the same image each time) and provides a link to your personal art gallery.
• Your Gallery contains all the art you have chosen to showcase. How many images you include is up to you, up to a maximum of 30 pictures (or 60 pictures if you purchased one additional space).
• You are provided with a special webpage where you can log in (password protected) and change your images at any time. You can add,delete images and change the description of your art (title, size, media & price). It's easy to do and the changes take place immediately.
• Help is available if you have any problems either through the Artist Tutorial or the webcoordinator.
• Have a look at the prices for participation in the Gallery.
• The Ottawa Art Association uses part of your fees to fund association activities so you're helping your association too.
