Art has always been a big part of me. I've been painting since I could doodle. More recently, I've come to realise that I paint, draw and sculpt what I feel. Sometimes I can't paint for weeks and other times I'm itching to pick up a paint brush. If art is a means of expression, I love to see what my imagination can cook up! For me, art is also FUN! I hope you enjoy my art work if you are interested in any of my works, feel free to e-mail me your opinion. You are more than welcome to also go see some of my work, up close, at the Ottawa Little Theatre or at Patrick John Mills Gallery of Contemporary Arts.

Up coming events or projects I've been working on:

   Events:

JUNE 2010:      I'm getting ready for montreal's Jazz fest. This will be the first time I will expose my art work with family. I'm really excited for this! Me, my two younger sisters, my brother in law and my mother will hold an exhibition in montreal at my sister's tiny little gallery. You are welcome to see one of my sister's (Anam) and her partner's (Randy) art work on the Kustom kulture website. I will post the date of vernissage night as soon as it is confirmed. You are more than welcome to stop by if you are in town for the fest.

    Projects:

Immigration and settlement:     I'm presently looking for artists who have had to start over in a new country(preferably Canada) and have had to improvise inorder to settle in by making what ever they could use, into what they needed, at the time. I want to do a show on how resettlment is another form of art and art therefore could be a means, rather than a mere luxury or a visual representation. I am also looking for space to do this show. If any one is interested in this project please get in touch with me.

Thanks, and hope you enjoy my art work!
