This painting of a single waterlily flower has a delicate oriental look. It is painted in watercolors on a 8" X 8' watercolor paper adhered to a 1" thick cradled wood panel; it is varnished in order to be displayed like an acrylic or oil painting. No glass!

This painting won the Aquatic Flowers and Hydrangea Challenge in the Australian online gallery, Red Bubble, on 17 Oct 2011.
