This original watercolor was painted from my own photograph of a beautiful peony growing in my neighbor's garden. It is a breath of spring that will cheer up any room all year round. The dark,almost black background with a lighter glow of green near the blossom really makes the gorgeous peony petals pop.

It is sold double matted in white and framed under glass in a metal frame.

This painting is currently in the Memories art show at the Foyer Gallery in the Nepean Sportsplex until Nov. 13, 2011.
