Susan Tudin

As a blossoming artist, I am relatively new to the art world but have always been moved and inspired by the emotional experience expressed on every canvas. Since 2005, my study under well-known Ottawa art teachers has brought me to a point where I would like to share my work with others. Working in watercolour and acrylics is both a challenge and a delight and I am always learning something new. My outdoor ramblings have inspired some of my pieces and my family are my biggest supporters !

I have participated in two Carleton Community Arts Shows . I am currently a member of both the Ottawa Art Association and Arteast Ottawa. I have entered two paintings into formal juried competition during the spring and the fall with these associations. A first for me, it was certainly another learning experience as I look forward to sharing and growing in art and the endless possibilities it presents for the human heart and soul.

Last fall marked my first commissioned work to paint a sunrise for the New Sun Joy McLaren Adaptive Technologies Centre located in the MacOdrum Library at Carleton University. The painting features an acrylic composition on a 30" X 40" canvas. It definitely proved to be a considerable challenge for me as I met the task with some trepidation. Nevertheless I am quite pleased with the results and encourage my followers to view my works here on my website and in the library. Its amazing how much can be accomplished in the short span of a year.
